Hi there! We’re Andi and Jill—best friends, widows, and the travel-loving pair behind Candyass Travelers. We believe that travel should be smart, sweet, and stress-free, with just enough adventure to keep it interesting.
We love seeing the world on our own terms. That means taking easy hikes with rewarding views, paddling calm waters in a kayak, and wandering through quiet towns and tucked-away villages that most tourists miss. We’re always on the lookout for beautiful places without the big crowds.
Here on the blog, you’ll find real travel stories from our soft-core adventures, destination spotlights, honest reviews of resorts and excursions, tips for avoiding the crowds, and practical planning resources to help you build your own easy, meaningful escapes. We also share packing tips, cruise advice, low-effort itineraries, and agent insights to help you travel smarter—not harder.
If you love the idea of thoughtful travel with a soft landing, you're in the right place.
I’m the planner, writer, and website creator behind Candyass Travelers. I’m the one planning our trips, writing our blog posts with a cup of something near by, or staying up way too late (anything after 9 pm) making sure the website works the way it should.
When I’m not blogging, I work as an independent travel agent—a role that lets me turn my love for slow, thoughtful travel into something that helps others do the same. I’m all about intentional adventures, unrushed moments, and the kind of travel that feels good, not exhausting; I don’t want to feel as though I need a vacation after the vacation and neither should you. Some of the best memories come when you give yourself the space to actually enjoy them.
I’m Jill—the photographer and picture editor for Candyass Travelers. I’m the one behind the camera, capturing the sweet moments and little details that make our trips unforgettable. I’m also the dreamer around here. I’m always tossing out big, bold ideas and then handing them off to Andi to figure out the details (she’s the planner, thank goodness).
